I am a criminal defence lawyer, and I am proud to be bringing criminal law back to a firm that was built on it. Courage, hard work, and a deep respect for the people who came before — that's what this firm was built on, and that is what I intend to carry forward.

In the years after the First World War, a young lawyer named Frank Slee set up practice in Bunbury. Among his early clients were Danish sailors who came ashore and found themselves facing criminal charges — foreign nationals, far from home, unable to navigate a system that wasn't built for them. Frank didn't have to help them. He chose to. His dedication was so valued that the Danish king made him an honorary ambassador to Denmark, and the firm still holds the shield that was gifted in recognition. Decades later, Bill Pidgeon built a thriving practice at the firm before answering the call to serve on the bench as one of the founding judges of the District Court of Western Australia, where he handed down the court's first criminal sentence. He left behind a career he loved because he believed there was a duty to accept.

I grew up in Bunbury and I'm glad to be back. I finished my law degree and went straight into the deep end managing heavy criminal defence caseloads across regional and metropolitan courts all over Western Australia. I have spent years developing my advocacy, which I am now offering to the people of Bunbury through a firm that has been a trusted name for over 100 years.

If you're facing criminal charges, have a family dispute, or a VRO matter, please reach out. Every matter I take on gets my full attention. I will take the time to sit down with you, explain where things stand, talk you through your options, and make sure you understand every step of the process.

Your matter matters to me.
